Marvel Studios released the trailer on Tuesday, debuting the first footage from the film a day after the world premiere of another Marvel tentpole: “Black Panther.”
The trailer opens with Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang asking Lilly’s Hope van Dyne if she would have helped him, Captain America, and the Avengers crew, if he had asked for aid.
“I guess we’ll never know,” she responds. “But if you had, you’d have never been caught.”
Michael Douglas’ Hank Pym also returns for the sequel, which picks up after the events of 2016’s “Captain America: Civil War” and finds the trio on the run.
With the power to shrink and enlarge themselves and other objects, even a Hello Kitty Pez dispenser can be used as a deadly tool against their foes.
The film, directed by Peyton Reed, also stars Bobby Cannavale, Judy Greer, Abby Ryder Fortson, Tip “T.I.” Harris, David Dastmalchian, Walton Goggins, Randall Park, Laurence Fishburne, Hannah John-Kamen, and Michelle Pfeiffer.
Rudd told Variety at the Sundance Film Festival that it was a thrill to work with “legends” Pfeiffer and Douglas on the movie.
Marvel also released the poster for the superhero pic on Tuesday.

Hi guys, sorry my absense, and lately posts/updates, but I’m so busy now and do not have as much time as before. So I update all behind scenes for COVER Vanity Fair (Issue), photoshoots, Ant Man & The Wasp and more. Check all pictures in our gallery.
And If you have intersting to support and help our site (we, really need) send a message for us, here.
Hi guys, I’m still busy and I will start update again all pictures from Evangeline. For now, look this BIG NEWS about Ant-Man & The Wasp.
Walton Goggins is finished filming Ant-Man & The Wasp, where he’ll make his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut as Sonny Burch. One of the biggest criticisms of the MCU to this point has been underwhelming villains. The problem has plagued the universe since its inception, even if what is viewed as a weakness to the films is by design as Marvel puts the emphasis on its heroes. Not only do several villains not live up to expectations, but they’re also typically evil carbon copies of the leading hero – with Marvel casting well opposite of their leads. For Ant-Man, that meant Corey Stoll playing Darren Cross aka Yellowjacket, another person with shrinking abilities to battle Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang.
Marvel has continued to try and address these critiques and 2017 specifically has had some better ones. Michael Keaton’s Vulture in Spider-Man: Homecoming was widely praised, while Cate Blanchett’s Hela and Kurt Russell’s Ego each have their fair share of supporters and detractors. Come next year, Goggins will look to add his take on Sonny Burch to the top tier.
Goggins has been working on Ant-Man & The Wasp for the last few months, but his time on the Marvel set has come to a close. The actor announced on his Instagram today that this was his final day filming his latest villain role. To commemorate the occasion, director Peyton Reed allowed Walton’s son Augustus to set up one of his father’s final scenes.
Goggins wrapping on the sequel at this stage follows reports of a wrap party previously being held. It was assumed at that point that the party was strictly for the Atlanta part of production, and Goggins’ photo does corroborate that fact. Seen in the background of the photo is the Golden Gate Bridge, confirming the sequel is winding down on location of Lang’s MCU hometown.
Not only does it confirm that unsurprising fact, but this is also the first “official” look at Goggins’ Sonny Burch. He’s previously been spotted in similar business attire on set, but none of these leaks have offered up much of any info on Burch’s role. In the comics, he’s a chairman of Cross Technologies. Considering Ant-Man and his crew destroyed the company, if Burch has the same role in the films, the fact that he is now jobless would give him plenty of motivation to hunt down this same team. He’ll also likely have the help of Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen), but what exactly their plan is remains to be seen.
In 21 August, the Evangeline Lilly movie “Little Evil” the trailer was release.
Imagine if The Omen were a comedy. Halloween is coming early on Netflix as they’ll be giving birth to the son of Satan on September 1, 2017.
Adam Scott, who probably wants you to forget he starred in Hellraiser: Bloodline, stars in the horror comedy Little Evil as Gary (Scott), who just married Samantha (Evangeline Lilly) only to find out that her 6-year-old son (Owen Atlas) is the Antichrist. Here’s the kicker:
The film was written and directed by Eli Craig, who was behind the cult horror comedy Tucker & Dale vs. Evil! The trailer just premiered and gives huge nods to The Omen, while also delivering all the laughs of Craig’s Tucker & Dale. This looks like an awesome pre-fall primer to set the stage for Netflix’s massive October, which includes the second season of “Stranger Things”.
“From the Marvel Cinematic Universe comes a new chapter featuring heroes with the astonishing ability to shrink: “Ant-Man and The Wasp.” In the aftermath of “Captain America: Civil War,” Scott Lang (Rudd) grapples with the consequences of his choices as both a Super Hero and a father. As he struggles to rebalance his home life with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, he’s confronted by Hope van Dyne (Lilly) and Dr. Hank Pym (Douglas) with an urgent new mission. Scott must once again put on the suit and learn to fight alongside The Wasp as the team works together to uncover secrets from their past.”
She may be best known for her work on 1983’s Scarface.
But Michelle Pfeiffer’s next project may be her most daring yet.
The 59-year-old actress has joined the cast of Ant-Man And The Wasp it was revealed by Marvel during their San Diego Comic-Con panel on Saturday.
She will play Janet Van Dyne, the mother of Evangeline Lilly’s Hope Van Dyne – aka Wasp – and the wife of Michael Douglas’ Hank Pym in the upcoming sequel.
In the comic books, Janet was the original Wasp and a founding member of the Avengers, and continued as a superhero after her husband retired, but she eventually went missing in another dimension and was assumed to be dead.
During the panel, a number of other casting announcements were made, including Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, Walton Goggins as Sonny Burch, Randall Park as Agent Jimmy Woo and Laurence Fishburne as Dr. Bill Foster.
Michael Pena will also star in the film, which sees Peyton Reed, who helmed 2015’s original Ant-Man, return as director and Paul Rudd reprise his lead role of Ant-Man/Scott Lang.
Ant-Man And The Wasp is scheduled for release in July 2018.
Meanwhile, Michelle has a string of other movies in the pipeline including Mother! and Murder on the Orient Express.
However she recently admitted she became ‘un-hireable’ for a time because having her children Claudia, now 24, and John, 22, made her more ‘picky and she was gradually offered less and less work.
The Batman Returns actress – who is married to David E. Kelley – said: ‘I’ve never lost my love for acting. I feel really at home on the movie set. I’m a more balanced person honestly when I’m working.
‘But I was pretty careful about where I shot, how long I was away, whether or not it worked out with the kids’ schedule. And I got so picky that I was un-hireable. And then … I don’t know, time just went on.’
Next month, Ant-Man will shrink back into his suit when production on the hero’s next movie begins. Marvel Studios will begin production on Ant-Man and the Wasp in July, prompting fans to hone in on any early rumors about the project. Now, a few reported details about the movie have hit the Internet, and the notes have fans eyeing some new characters.
Over on MCU Exchange, the site claims a source of theirs has provided info about Ant-Man and the Wasp’s new characters. The site reports that Hannah John-Kamen is playing someone named Dawn who is described as “charismatic, eccentric, unpredictable, and damaged.” The site notes there are no obvious Marvel characters associated with Dawn, but fans can make a case for John-Kamen playing Dawn Starr.
In the comics, the surname Starr is of note thanks to Elihas Starr. The man is known as Egghead to most readers, and he acts as a villain to Ant-Man. It could be that Dawn will play a relative of Egghead’s as Ant-Man and the Wasp tries to make the slapstick villain more serious.
The report claims John-Kamen will be playing one of three new characters in the Ant-Man sequel. The film is also expected to introduce Janet van Dyne in a more substantial role. The iconic Marvel character was briefly shown in the first Ant-Man film when the Wasp sacrificed herself to the Quantum Realm during a mission. The sequel may delve further into his MIA status as Hank Pym gains the nerve to search for Janet one more time.
As for the third character, it looks like Ant-Man and the Wasp may bring in a new love interest. A character named Victoria has been rumored, and she is described as being both unhinged and smart. The report suggests Victoria will be a love interest for Luis as Scott Lang’s best friend has already been confirmed for the sequel.
Ant-Man and the Wasp currently has a 3.93 out of 5 ComicBook.com User Anticipation Rating. Let us know how much you’re looking forward to Ant-Man and the Wasp by giving it your own ComicBook.com User Anticipation Rating below. Ant-Man and the Wasp is set to open in theaters on July 6, 2018.
In Ant-Man, forced out of his own company by former protégé Darren Cross, Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) recruits the talents of Scott Lang (Paul Rudd), a master thief just released from prison. Lang becomes Ant-Man, trained by Pym and armed with a suit that allows him to shrink in size, possess superhuman strength and control an army of ants. The miniature hero must use his new skills to prevent Cross, also known as Yellowjacket, from perfecting the same technology and using it as a weapon for evil.
Ant-Man was directed by Peyton Reed, with a screenplay by Edgar Wright & Joe Cornish and Adam McKay & Paul Rudd, and stars Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Corey Stoll, Bobby Cannavale, Michael Peña, Tip “T.I.” Harris, Anthony Mackie, Wood Harris, Judy Greer, David Dastmalchian, and Michael Douglas.
The Ant Man and the Wasp is about to start being filmed and we have some fresh news! Yesterday morning was confirmed by Hilsey Cook herself that she is going to be Evangeline Lilly’s personal make up artist in the movie. Her visa was approved and very soon she will be departing to US. Hilsey used to work with Evangeline Lilly on The Hobbit movies, doing her make up and hair. I am kind of prudish and I have very strict standards about how I present myself. But one of the things that I’ve always stood by is that women are beautiful and sexy. We shouldn’t be afraid of that. [But] we need to make sure that we present that beauty and that sexiness in a way that says we are in control of our bodies. We’re strong, we’re classy, we’re beautiful, powerful beings to be reckoned with, not victims.
